The art of walking

If you, like me, can get pretty overwhelmed with all the demands leading a life comes with, read this. You probably already know this, but a reminder surely doesn’t hurt.

If you read my other post ”To live a meaningful life” it is easy to get excited and yeah, stressed, about needing to walk straight to you goals. If you can figure out some goals in the first place that is.

But how does one walk straight anyway? The art of walking is taking one step at a time.

How do you walk a winding road straight? One step at the time. The road might seem curved, but if you are focusing on this moment, what lies up ahead is nothing you need to concern yourself with. You will figure it out as you go. I have great faith in future you.

Also, as in walking, one needs breaks! We need to sleep, rest, eat, play, laugh, contemplate, reflect, poop and probably do some chores. Those things are all part of walking on the path of life. So when you feel lost or don’t know what you are doing, that is ok. Remember that being lost is part of your journey. If you have never known the feeling of being lost, you would not know the feeling of being at home.
